The cold wind whipped around Maya, stinging her cheeks. She was walking to the park when she saw it – the article. Her article, but under a different name. A name she didn't know. The feeling in her gut was awful.

She felt a wave of nausea wash over her. She stopped walking, bracing her hands against a nearby lamppost. The world around her seemed to tilt, the familiar park transformed into a menacing landscape.

She squeezed her eyes shut, taking a ragged breath. She needed to calm down. But the injustice of it all, the theft of her work, the violation of her trust, was overwhelming.
